About UsThe practice Knight & Company was founded in 1979 by Geoffrey Knight FCA, and currently employs 10 staff from one office in central Maidenhead. Over this period of time the practice has built up a reputation as competent and reliable business advisors. The firm's aim is to provide a professional and personal service predominantly to owner managed businesses, although we also deal with a significant number of tax clients. Our current client base is widespread both geographically and by business type. Our aim is to work closely with our clients to deal with their day to day financial issues and to provide added value services. We also provide an extensive outsourcing facility offering payroll and bookkeeping services. To keep abreast of the latest developments and to offer further services to our clients we are members of 2020 Consulting and The Society of Professional Accountants as well as the Practice Society of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. All our professional staff undertake regular training to keep up to date in their particular field and we invest heavily in information technology to continue to enable us to deliver the quality services demanded by today’s clients. The firm's main departments are under the responsibility of :- Tracy Attard ACCA, Tracy manages the accounting and audit function of the firm as well as looking after the affairs of a number of clients. Joy Collins ATT, Joy controls the personal tax function. She prepares all the firm's tax returns and advises on tax related issues. Christine Sutton, Christine runs the outsourcing activities dealing with weekly and monthly payrolls and client in house and on site bookkeeping requirements.
